20 Years of Trans Awareness Month Brings 20 Years of Remembering Fallen Transgender Loved Ones.

In West Virginia, several vigils will be held through out the state; Huntington, Charleston, and in Princeton, WV., an openly Gay City Council Candidate James Adkins will be assisting S.W.A.T. (a local trans support group), in reading of the names. At West Virginia University’s LGBTQ Center, will be hosting a Friendsgiving dinner, followed with a vigil to honor the Trans lives lost in acts of unjust hate.

Three Charged with Gruesome Murder of Houston Transgender Teen Ally Steinfeld

Vrba reportedly told authorities that he stabbed Steinfield in the living room of the mobile home, and that all three, Schauer, Calderas, and Vrba wrapped up the victim’s body, took it outside, and destroyed the body by burning it. He also told law enforcement officers that some of the bones were placed in a garbage bag, which was transferred to a chicken coop on the property.
