Later this evening , June 11th, the FX Channel will launch the much anticipated second season of it’s hit show Pose. The series will join a record number of lgbtqia shows. In all, bringing a much needed representation of our community, during the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall. Amidst the largest, most visible pride month ever, attacks by right wing hate groups are growing. Regrettably our moment coincides with one of the most anti-lgbt POTUS’s ever. An event mainly responsible for the growing levels of hatred.
This past Saturday, ignorant Nazi traders of America, interrupted Detroit’s Pride Parade by blocking streets, and urinating on Israeli and Pride Flags.
LGBTQ Nation reports that Moore, a trans woman and activist, got into a dust-up with this person cretin outside of the studios where Pose is shot in New York City. She is also a star of the show.
The video begins with Moore taking the Trump supporter’s sign away, but reports notes that the altercation most likely started earlier, since Moore says,
“Well, you guys aren’t fans of our show, and we don’t want you to be fans of our show.”
The white man went ‘Trump Orange’ man after seeing his sign touched and not only rips the sign (which read: “Re-Elect Trump in 2020: Keep America Great!”) from Moore but shoves another black person while shouting “Get off my stuff!” and “Get the fuck out of here!”
The police can then be seen berating Moore by telling the actress,
“You could’ve died for Trump! He could’ve stabbed you!”
The video was posted to Facebook by a person going by the name of Dion Cini. Cini’s profile contains numerous photos at Trump rallies and with the “Blue Lives Matter” flag, which tells you everything you need to know about this dick who supports a man who directed U.S. embassies around the world not to fly the rainbow flag during Pride month and who has expressly worked to curb the rights of transgender Americans in the armed forces and elsewhere.
All reports, on Indya Moore’s social media reveals she is shaken up but ok. She remains vigilant and continuing to advocate for trans people.
We are 11 days into the most historical Pride Month, during the most threatening time to our rights. We urge our community to unite, connect with local chapters and attend events in groups, but be vigilant, queer and proud. More than ever they will see our Pride.
